Sunday Fun Day

Today was great. It truly was. With the parade, the coronation, Cheeses Booth's pretzels, cotton candy, running into old friends... all of it, it was just great...

Today was entry day for 4Her's entering veggies, fruits, flowers and baked goods... I volunteered to help the judges put on ribbons and get everything all nice and organized. And afterwards, they gave all of us a free dinner from all the stuff the kiddos entered... (excluding prize winning cakes and pies, and the desserts that went to the bake sale.) There was so much yummy food, and a ton of 'questionable' food. I definitely was not brave enough to test some of the entries.. yeah...

So after I got some hours in, I found the gang and we walked around, and then hopped on the trolly.. and then got kicked off the trolly because we were just riding it. That was fun. We got off at the Mid-Way, Josh and Em got a funnel cake with lots of powered sugar (the only way to go) and then we headed back up to the barns. Yeah, now that I type it out I realize that you kinda had to be there to experience the awesomeness of just hanging out.. But anyhow, here are some pix of like the last 10 min of our evening.

(Here's a plug for the Flowerhill Strings, they are going to be playing again on Monday at 11 am, come and see Anna Somerville, Chris Perdue, Mrs. Barker, Corey Simmons, Mr. Flowers and a few other people of whom i don't know their names play at the Fair!! If you like bluegrass, you should totally come hear them play!!) - I forgot to mention that they played this evening, and were super... and if you didn't get to see them, you should later in the week...

Last night was the first night of the fair. It was only pre-fair, but hey, it's the fair all the same. I must say that last night was AWESOME! If you are planning on going, let me know, and we can hang out!! =)

So I forgot...

oh well... 

So far I have had a super summer. I have gone on a cruise (I know, I haven't posted the rest of the pics), went to the pool like 6 times, played put-put, went to Jimmy Cone, finally got my diploma (yes, I am officially graduated and am now screaming and happy dancing...), had a girly day with Kristen, went to Ocean City for a day (pictures soon)...umm.. entered my "wish list" entry forms to the fair, and then I had my surgery. Yeah. That pretty much ended my super summer streak. But no worries, my sinuses are looking good, and I am feeling better. I was reminded to day that now that the 4th of July has passed, it  marks the end of the Summer for Teachers. You see, this year I will be teaching a bunch of classes, and with Orientation Day around the corner, the end of my Summer is coming all to soon. :( 

SO! In order to try to save what is left of theses glorious toasty-warm days, I plan to post videos of my every so non-fascinating life here for you to view... We'll laugh, we'll cry... well.. you will laugh at me, and I will cry at my stupidity but that's they way it goes right? ;) 

Here is my first set for ya... When we took them we were exhausted, in need of sleep, and full of giggles... and yes, Ted giggles when he is tired, just don't tell him I said so =)

Ok, this next one is way shorter... basically I had this idea for a silly picture for me and ted. The plan was to see how many marsh mellows we could get in our mouths and then smile or some thing.. I tried it when ted was upstairs... I bit them in half, and tried to make "teeth" for a pearly white smile... but as I did this ted came down stairs I started to laugh, and then well, you'll see...p.s. sorry about the weird setting...
